SINGAPORE - Singapore's only three-Michelin-starred restaurant Joel Robuchon Restaurant - located at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) - will close by the end of June.
Its sister outlet at RWS, the two-Michelin-starred L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, will also close, although it may reopen in Orchard Road, according to a report by The Business Times on Thursday (June 7).
RWS confirmed the closures, and it will release a joint statement between RWS and Robuchon's restaurant group soon.
Both restaurants will serve their last meals on June 30, just under a month in the lead-up to the unveiling of this year's edition of the Singapore Michelin Guide.

Perhaps Singapore is no longer as attactive a location to run a F&B business compared to the past. After all these days most of us know that beneath a first world nation facade we are gradually rotting away beneath - surging costs bumping away our once competitiveness edge, a considerably less capable +transparent government and at times ridiculously strict regulations to name a few main reasons.
Perhaps he felt insulted hawker stalls like this one also get feted by the Michelin Guide?
How long can a super high end restaurant serving meals starting from 200+ / pax survive? Cluster of michelin stars ain't an immunity badge from poor revenues. Brings to mind other high profile casualties such as Restaurant Andre, Canele Patisserie By Les Amis, Au Jardin, Blue Diamond and Guy Savoy.
Luckily I am low SES, can only afford $3 chicken rice.
