Look on the bright side, at least the scammer(s) left him $2K to buy a coffin for himself :P
If only the old man used a fruit phone, none of this would have happened.

称手机现假Google Play 七旬伯痛失7万元
称手机出现虚假Google Play应用商店，七旬伯的银行户头被不法之徒入侵，两小时内7万多元被转走，痛失退休金。
吕姓男事主（70岁，化名）受访时说，今年1月29日早上9时接获星展银行职员的电话，称查到他的银行户头从当天凌晨3时开始，两个小时内出现多次转账至国外的记录，约7万1000元被转走后，户头仅剩约2000元。他立刻要求冻结户头。
“被转走的还包括今年1月领取的退休金，约3万元。”
他事后也报了警，并把手机交给警方进行调查。调查结果显示，手机因出现带有恶意软件的Google Play应用商店，导致个人资料被盗取。
“警方说钱转去外国就拿不回了，那是我辛辛苦苦赚来的血汗钱，如此被转走真的很心痛，我和妻子因为这件事每夜辗转难眠。”
