GUIDE: How to report xiaomeimei/upskirt tumblrs
Note: Please DO NOT report original content creators of NSFW sex-positive blogs. Our purpose here is solely to report and take down the blogs using the photos and videos of girls and women which are illegally obtained (spy cams, upskirts) and without consent. These blogs below feature a community of people who are safe, consensual and are fully aware of the kind of attention they receive in the creation and circulation of their content. This makes ALL the difference.
Refer to this list: https://allmyfantasies4.tumblr.com/post/153414519885/sg-girls-nsfw-tumblr-blogs
We're tackling sexual harassment, not sex. So please, no matter how much you may personally disagree with their blogs, they do not deserve to be reported.
Sex-positive people in Singapore are rare enough to come by okay please don't let them get caught in the crossfire. I'll hopefully be able to make a #woke video about sex positivity soon but till then, hang tight! If any of the content creators would like to educate me further on this topic please feel free to DM or e-mail me!

After posting the video on sexual harassment, I've been receiving a steady stream of more than 200 messages from women and girls alike, sharing your stories and confiding in me. MANY of ya'll have told me how much you regret not doing anything about it, how you didn't realise it was not okay, and most importantly, ya'll have told me that you've called these people out, confronted them, had other commuters hold them down while you contact the authorities, and omg that is awesome. It's kinda lit a fire under my ass to follow up with a course of action that we take to stop these tumblr sites.
It's frankly pretty awesome, not like cool dude awesome but like awe-inspiring awesome, that we are finally talking about it, sharing our thoughts, getting up in arms about making sure that these sites are stopped and that no one else needs to go through this alone.
We can ACTUALLY do this.
These blogs, and the people who run them will be liable under criminal charges for harassment, cyberbullying and online defamation. It is also abreach of Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting a woman's modesty.
Here are additional articles about the situation if you'd like to read up on it:https://www.tnp.sg/news/singapore/many-blogs-pictures-school-girls-found-tumblrhttp://ricemedia.co/current-affairs-features-singaporeans-tumblr-instagram-girls-porn-stars/https://mustsharenews.com/sg-tumblr-porn/http://www.youngparents.com.sg/family/singapore-girl-shares-trauma-of-seeing-school-photos-edited-and-shared-on-porn-blog/Gia's video, she's been a victim in this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGCTfpLBi5M
While we are tackling the sites focused on xiao mei meis, students and women, there are sites doing the same for boys and young men. So if you see them, don't hesitate to report them as well.
Great! Now that we're clear and ready to rally, here's how you report these sites.
A) If you find your own photos on these sites:
1. Take screenshots of every post, the url(s) and username(s), timestamps and the notes (who reblogged it).
Windows 8: Windows + Prnt Scrn
Mac: Command + Shift + 3 (or 4 to crop)
2. Compile them as evidence and make a police report.
Highly recommended that you don't skip on making the police report. While it may be tedious, there are cases whereby these users have been caught and sentenced in court. And at the very least, it informs the police on how rampant the situation is so that further action (e.g. more serious consequences, increased diligence in tracking these users down etc) can be taken.
3. Get a lawyer and apply for court orders under the Protection from Harassment Act that require the harasser to stop the harassment, for instance by taking down what has been posted online.
There are lawyers who can help pro-bono (no legal fees).
http://probono.lawsociety.org.sg/Pages/default.aspx and other quick google searches can get you in touch with them!
4. Submit a copyright claim to Tumblr, under Copyright Violation (first option).
https://www.tumblr.com/abuse
Under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) - a US copyright law, this is the most straightforward and efficient way to take down these sites as Tumblr is located in New York and runs in accordance with U.S. law. You can file a DMCA request. You can also submit under 'My privacy is being violated' and 'I'm being harassed'. All of these forms are less than a page to fill - if you have the materials it takes less than 5 minutes.
According to Tumblr's Community Guidelines, "With regard to repeat copyright infringement, we use a three-strike system to evaluate the standing of a user's account, where, generally, each valid copyright infringement notice constitutes a strike, and three strikes results in the termination of a user's account. When a user submits a valid DMCA counter-notification, we remove the associated strike from their record."
I can't write a template for you but if the photos of you were taken when you were under 21, please mention that. Be as detailed as possible, and save what you've typed in a word document or an e-mail draft so that you can copy and paste it to report multiple times. With the three-strike system, just make sure you have your evidence on hand for easy reference, take the time to submit multiple reports if it goes unanswered, and get your friends to submit on your behalf to draw attention to it etc.
B) If you find others' photos on these sites:
1. Take screenshots of the posts as key examples, the url(s) and username(s), timestamps and the notes (who reblogged it).
Windows 8: Windows + Prnt Scrn
Mac: Command + Shift + 3 (or 4 to crop)
2. Submit a report to Tumblr.
https://www.tumblr.com/abuse
Under Tumblr's Community Guidelines, you may submit under any of the following:
Harm to minors: posting/soliciting anything "relating to minors that is sexually suggestive or violent."
You can copy and paste these descriptions for efficient and convenient reporting:
These blogs as listed feature underaged girls, ranging from ages 12 to 17. These photos have been unethically obtained from their social media, misappropriated and posted without their knowledge and consent in a highly sexualised and suggestive manner. The captions are lewd and graphic, promoting and fantasising statutory rape and abuse. Please remove these sites immediately. If it is in any way possible, please enforce stronger action such as the banning of their IP addresses as they are likely to restart these blogs.
Privacy violation/'My privacy is being violated': posting content that violates anyone's privacy, especially personally identifying or confidential information like (...) unlisted contact information and non-consensual pornography—that is, private photos or videos taken or posted without the subject's consent.
You can copy and paste these descriptions for efficient and convenient reporting:
These blogs as listed feature a number of girls and young women whose photos have been unethically obtained from their social media, misappropriated and posted without their knowledge and consent in a highly sexualised and suggestive manner. Some of the videos shown are leaked sex tapes and nudes, with captions detailing their personal information such as their names and contact numbers. Others have been digitally modified in a crude and sexual manner to depict nudity. Please remove these posts, and if possible, the sites themselves immediately. If it is in any way possible, please enforce stronger action such as the banning of their IP addresses as they are likely to restart these blogs.
In cases of upskirt blogs:
These blogs as listed feature the upskirting of women and girls in Singapore. These videos and photos often depict their faces, and are sometimes accompanied by lewd captions detailing personal information such as the location, race, age and other personal information. Please remove these sites immediately. If it is in any way possible, please enforce stronger action such as the banning of their IP addresses as they are likely to restart these blogs.
All of these forms are less than a page to fill - you can do it anonymously and it takes less than 5 minutes.
To make a strong case, pick the one that the most appropriate. If there are underaged girls involved, as there usually are, unfortunately, pick Harm to minors because privacy violations work on a three-strike system. Then again, you can report them several times, in multiple categories.

Local blogger stands up against cyber sexual harassment of women
Ms Brenda Tan has also experienced voyeurs. PHOTO: COURTESY OF BRENDA TAN
Local blogger Brenda Tan, 22, is taking a stand against online sexual predators.
These users frequent social media websites Tumblr and Twitter, as well as messaging platform Telegram. They typically share upskirt pictures, superimpose other people's faces onto nude bodies, or post innocuous photos of women with sexual captions.
Ms Tan is posting links of such Tumblr pages on her blog and encouraging her followers to report them to Tumblr so they can be taken down.
She also details the required evidence to file a police report as well as the contacts of pro bono lawyers who are willing to defend victims for free.
Ms Tan told The New Paper: "This (upskirt photo situation) has been going on for years, and I think it is time to address it. I have received more than 300 messages of gratitude on Instagram since I started this project.
"There is such a victim-shaming culture in Singapore that girls are often afraid to come forward about such offences."
Ms Tan said she often catches men taking photos of her or sitting too close to her on public transport.
"Men feel they are entitled to women's bodies and pictures, and we are not really taught these things in school. We just get some vague warnings about molestation," she said.
Ms Tan said she knew of a woman who was celebrating her 21st birthday when a party guest installed a camera in her bathroom. A video of her showering was later uploaded online.
Victims of online sexual harassment also told Ms Tan when they approached the blog owners to take down their pictures, the owners asked for their nude photos instead.
