Apple said last week that revenues from the iPhone had fallen by 12pc
Apple has fallen out of the world's top three smartphone makers for the first time in a decade after a decline in iPhone sales.
Shipments of the iPhone fell by 15pc year-on-year during the second quarter of 2019, according to figures from IHS Markit.

Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook has said that iPhone owners are upgrading their phones at a slower rate and that the price of new models has put off some potential buyers. Meanwhile, sales of cheaper devices running Google’s Android operating system have increased.
