According to Philippines media Philstar, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Philippines President Duterte witnessed the signing of a S$186.7 million worth of joint ventures, that will hire 1,920 Filipino nationals in Singapore. The joint ventures will include the setting up of 25 new Jolibee restaurants in Singapore over 5 years.
Singapore’s currently unemployment rate is 3% for Singapore citizens. The government-doctored unemployment rate is however 2%. It appears Lee Hsien Loong is again selling out jobs to foreigners over Singaporeans again.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is currently meeting ASEAN leaders in Singapore.
The Southeast Asia association is currently under-fire for disunity, especially in the dealing with China and US. Individual ASEAN country has their own bilateral ties with the two countries, with Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Malaysia and Myanmar siding with China, while Vietnam and Singapore are pro-US.
The ASEAN meeting this week was unable to finalise their proposed “code of conduct” with China, over the sovereignty of South China Sea (SCS). The SCS issue was met with only a single liner in a 9-page Leaders’ Vision statement: “Work actively towards the conclusion of an effective Code of Conduct in the South China Sea.”

Traitor: someone who is obsessed with pink color, loves to do impromptu catwalks and cannot take proper care of army tanks. :P
The very definition of a traitor requires an update in the Oxford English dictionary.
